U.S Open Update

Well Tiger Woods did not have what it took this past weekend to mount a charge from behind and beat the leaders. The 36 and 54 hole leader fell apart on Monday as Lefty crept up the leader board. Lucas Glover, however, was able to hang on with a +3 on the round and a -4 for the tournament edging out Lefty, former world #1 David Duval and the tournaments 36 and 54 hole leader Ricky Barnes. Barnes shot +6 on the round and Tiger a -1.

So here are so recent pics of me and what I have been up to. The quality isn’t so great but they are fun.

Happy Father’s Day

I would like to wish all of the father’s, especially my father, out there a Happy Father’s Day. This being my first Father’s Day as a poppa I can certainly appreciate it more than ever. I could not have gotten to where I am today without the wisdom, guidence and fortitude of my father. I can only hope that I will be able to instill upon my little girl the same love, truth and knowledge that my pops has instilled upon me throughout the years. Dad, thank you for everything. I love you.

109th United States Open

Today is another horrible day outside so no walks for me. However, the 109th U.S. Open is on and I am glued to the TV. Because of the weather they are playing more than 18 holes today. Its great to have so much golf on. So far they say that the cut will be four over par and my main man Tiger Woods is three over par so he is safe and has a chance to come from behind which he is soooo good at. If you need me you know where I’ll be..

In the last post I let everyone know that you can now register on the site. Well, in addition to registering you can also choose your email subscription status. If you would like to be notified via email when a new post is added to the site then click on “Profile” (if logged in) under “Subscription Services” and choose your options. If you do not choose to create an account but would still like to be notified of new posts then just enter your email address in the box, click subscribe and choose your options. New Features!!!!

This is not a normal post where I show lots of cute pictures of Kiley and make up wacky sayings. This post is to tell you of the new features that I have added to the site.

First things first, If you didn’t notice the box right above the first post (this post for right now) then you might need your eyes checked. This box plays a slide-show of all of the past posts. If you see one that you would like to go to then just click on the picture or words and poof, you’re there.

The second addition is not something that you will notice on the site. It is for all of you mobile web users out there. Yes, we have gone mobile. Whatever phone, PDA or mobile device you may have, this site will detect it and render the site so that you can view it very easily. Most likely, this means that the homepage you come to on your mobile device will be a listing of the posts and once you click into a post, the pictures and all of their glory will be there for you to enjoy.

Lastly, but maybe most importantly, you can now register on the site. Go ahead create an account and username. Be a part of the site yourself. You can also subscribe to the site even if you don’t want to create an account. Just enter your email address and choose what type of emails you would like to receive and you’re all set.

I hope that you all continue to enjoy the site as much as I do and please feel free to leave comments on the posts you love (at the end of each post click on the words “Leave a comment”) and pass it onto your friends and loved ones using the Share/Bookmark button. It is really very easy.

While all of the buzz this year is around the new mother and the new family member, I could never forget the mother who put me on this planet. My mother!!!! The one who, along with my pops, helped to raise and instill within me the kind of values and knowledge that every child should have and which I plan to impart upon my little one. Kiley would like to wish everyone a Happy Mother’s Day. This being the first Mother’s Day of her existance and her Mommy’s first Mother’s Day as a mother, this is a very special day for all. Marissa has taken to being a mother like a fish takes to water. It is in her blood to be a great mother and she is living up to this great expectation. As her husband and the father our our child, I love and cherish Marissa with all of my being for all that she has done and sacrificed in the pursuit of building the perfect family.
